Top 10 Reasons Why We're Turning 10!

2/28/2014

2014 marks the year that B&M turns 10, and we're celebrating all year long! Astute website watchers may have noticed that we switched up our home page with the Top 10 Reasons We're Turning 10! I thought it'd be fun to highlight these reasons here, with some fun Buzzfeed style graphics to mix it up.

#1 Quality service.
We know that high quality service sells itself so that’s been #1 goal from year one.
#2 Great partners.
We count ourselves lucky ducks to have partnered with manufacturers that value quality the way we do.
#3 Full service.
From calibrations to in house pump rebuilds to telemetry and SCADA and everything in between, our services have got you covered.
#4 Fast response.
When there’s an emergency, we’re going to be there fast, at all hours of the night, on holidays, and in terrible weather.
#5 Beyond cookie-cutter.
We work with you to grow our knowledge of your system so we can understand and customize solutions to your system.
#6 Awesome technicians.
Ten years have taught us that great technicians are valuable and rare, and that our high standards get us a great team.
#7 We’re family.
Our family is involved in every part of the business, and that makes every service call personally important.
#8 Affordable solutions.
It’s no use to anyone if you have a great product that no one can afford so we look for quality solutions that you can afford.
#9 Big and small.
We love it when you call us for the big, the small, and everything in between.
#10 Amazing customers.
Ten years wouldn’t have happened without our amazing customers.  Your service calls, purchases, trust, encouragement, and recommendations are the number one reason we’re where we are today.  We’re grateful every day. Thank you!
Not our customer yet? With you, the next ten years are looking even better than the first ten!

Friday Links

On this blustery snowy Friday, I'm trying to get some work done while staying bundled up in my office. Since a longer thought-out post seems to be eluding me, how about some interesting links and little stuff instead?
We all know that you can find some interesting items in sewers but I bet you don't find Winnie the Pooh every day.

All over the state communities are issuing run water orders for a constant "pencil size stream" to combat frozen laterals. The best way to tell if you're running a pencil size stream? I
t should take two minutes to fill up a gallon size container.

Major progress has been made in legalizing Wisconsin rubber duck races this week.  A
bill specifically for this purpose has passed the Senate and Assembly and now heads to Governor Walker for his signature.

This has drawn international attention by way of the BBC, who declared that " rubber duck racing is a popular pastime." Obviously this is why we hand out rubber ducks.

Speaking of rubber ducks, I love our new ad that we submitted this week for the WRWA Annual Conference that I'm going to give you a sneak peak. Looks like duck ads are becoming our thing.

And just in case those didn't perk up your day, go watch this again. Worth it every time.
