                                          Adjustable Transmitter

                                          Picture
The Adjustable Transmitter is a device used in an analog current loop to test, calibrate or demo equipment. The AT4201 simulates an analog field device such as a Pressure Transducer or Temperature Transmitter. When placed in the analog current loop, the Adjustable Transmitter regulates the current in the loop to the setting on the knob from 4 to 20 mA. When a more precise setting is required, place an ammeter in the current loop to display the loop current.

                                          Battery Operated Alarm with Charger

                                          Picture
The BOAC unit is a solid state device that charges the backup battery used in a 12 V DC alarm system that has an alarm strobelight and horn. The BOAC unit activates the alarm strobe light and horn automatically when there is a loss of 120 V AC power. Upon loss of 120 V AC power, there is a time delay of approximately 5 seconds when switching from the charging circuit to the battery powered alarm circuit. This delay prevents momentary power glitches from causing nuisance alarms. During an alarm with a loss of 120 V AC, the alarm strobe light and horn are powered by the battery. Battery power is conserved by operating the horn intermittently, on for 2 seconds, and then off for 2 seconds. An alarm contact closure across pins 3 and 10 with 120 V AC applied will activate the alarm strobe light and horn. After an alarm, with 120 V AC applied, the BOAC will recharge the 12 V DC backup battery. A push-to-test button is provided to verify system operation. When pushed, the strobelight is activated and the horn operates intermittenly; 2 seconds on, 2 seconds off.

                                          Flasher

                                          Picture
The Flasher provides a simple means of achieving a 120 V AC alarm flash circuit, without the high cost of a strobelight. The most common application would be flashing an incandescent light bulb. The rate of flash is approximately 30 flashes per minute.

                                          Power Supply

                                          Picture
The PS100 is a compact, regulated, linear 24 V DC power supply, capable of supplying up to 100 mA of current. It operates from 120 V AC and has a solid state resettable fuse on its output. The 24 V DC output is transient protected. The PS100 plugs into a 12 pin base, allowing fast installation and easy servicing.
