After the ribbon cutting, it was lunch! This year I helped serve lunch, and that was kind of fun. Hope everyone's potato salad was particularly special. :) Everyone looks pretty happy, right?
It's no secret that Josh and I look forward to the WRWA Outdoor Expo every year. We've been going for years (here we are in 2010 and 2011) and it hasn't disappointed. While we've come to expect the growth that continues year after year, this year offered a few special differences that we think enhanced the Expo. Our booth was in it's traditional spot over by registration. With the great new landscaping that has happened behind the WRWA offices, there was now more of a natural flow past our booth, past registration, and into the new parklike area. It looks really great, and the potential for the area has us really thinking about our future booth location preferences. Another great and new addition to the WRWA campus, and thus the Expo, is this: What a beautiful building! The new Technology Center had it's grand opening/ribbon cutting at the Expo. The building provides a great location for classroom sessions during the Expo and trainings throughout the year. I'm confident it is going to be of great value to the industry for many years to come. And before we knew it, the day was over. At the booth, we really didn't have any down time and that is the No. 1 sign of a great day. We enjoyed catching up with customers and meeting lots of new people. Thank you so much to those who came, and to all of those at WRWA who make this day fantastic!
