This week has been so beautiful! Give me sun and 60 degree weather, and I'm a happy girl. That's why I was excited for the WRWA Golf Outing on Wednesday this week. Last year it was my first opportunity to get a sunburn, and despite the occasional cool wind, this year didn't disappoint. By the end of the day my face had remembered what the sun was all about.
Thankfully, I've found a way that I can attend these beautiful events without embarrassing myself trying to play golf. You could find me at hole 10, selling 50/50 raffle tickets with Rick from Aryes Associates. This was my second year doing this, and it was a great time. There were 150 golfers who we enjoyed hitting up and talking to, and they were generous! We went through a whole roll of tickets and well into another row, and by the end of the day we had $1,422 stuck in my pocket. Half of it went to the lucky winner, and half went to WRWA, who always has a great cause going on.
Overall, it was a fantastic day and I'll gladly help out next year.
