WRWA Annual Conference 2011

4/1/2011

It was no surprise to us that the WRWA Annual Conference was a great show.  The KI Center is a great venue, and it seems like WRWA is never ending in their efforts to make everything just a little bit better all around.  This year marked the first year of the Corporate Elite membership, and we are proud that we are members on this highest level.  But of course, the primary factor that keeps these shows ticking is the operators, and we were happy to see so many of them come out.  We talked to a lot of existing customers and, if I may be so confident, many future customers as well.  Per an excellent deal made with WRWA, Katie also had a marvelous time riding the Cruizin Cooler Motorized Refreshment Vehicle.  She did not hit anyone or anything (as close calls do not count) and found that the Cruizin Cooler has surprising speed.  Unfortunately, despite her best efforts, the Cruizin Cooler did not come home with her.

At the booth, we had our traditional rubber duck giveaways, that are about as non-traditional as they come - over 50 varieties in ducks this year kept us entertained in the booth.  Katie has half a bag left, so if you're looking to add an unique duck to a collection, she probably has one for you!  We also had a booth drawing for another $100 bill - nothing seems to draw as much attention as cash, so we'll keep doing it as long as you like it.  The lucky winner was Todd from Ashland - who then turned around and won another prize from the next vendor down!

We had front row reserved dinner seating at the Banquet this year, courtesy of WRWA because of our Corporate Elite membership.  We enjoyed sitting with our customers, making our best guesses in the Price Is Right, and, of course, participating in the Sportsman's Raffle.  We were happy to give our prize to Dick from Berlin - congratulations on winning the $300 Dick's Sporting Goods Gift Card.

Overall, we felt, as usual, it is well worth our time to come over, make these excellent contacts, and have some fun at the same time.  Thank you to WRWA for all your work, the KI  Center for a seamless experience, and to the operators who make this conference fantastic.

To Katie and the Crew from B & M thanks for the help at the conference. Katie can I put you on the schedule to ride the cooler next year? Hope to see you in August at the WRWA Expo in Plover.

your recap of the conference was spot on. Thank you for your, as usual, great gift for the Sportsman's Raffle. I love using your website as yet another great way to remind the industry of your very generous contributions to the success of both the conference and the raffle. See you up front again in year 19.

Thanks again,

Andy and the entire committee.

Eric and Andy and everyone at WRWA -

Thanks for visiting the blog and the comments! It only took me four months to approve them (I didn't realize I had to approve them!) and get them up here! Sorry about that!

We always enjoy the conference and I'm looking forward to the Expo next week. I'm hoping for a nice hot and sunny day so my dip in the dunk tank won't be too bad!
