Even setting aside the food and the cute baby animals, it was a great day overall. We had the opportunity to connect with a lot of friendly faces, both familiar and new. It's always a highlight to stay busy, look at the time, and wonder where it all went, and that's how the afternoon felt. Thank you to WWOA and Watertown for hosting yet another great day, and you can count on us to be back next year!
We confess that we look forward to the WWOA Annual Collection Systems Seminar - 24th Annual this year - in Watertown all year round. It's a beautiful venue with a lot of great people in the area, and the food is always fantastic. It's funny how that can just make a day great. We arrived bright and early, prepared with our jackets since the 100 degree weather had disappeared overnight and left us with a cool, breezy, and slightly rainy mid 60s. Normally we set up in the open pavilion area, but today I was grateful to have a space in the closed in area to be protected from the blowing rain that we had in the morning. The big picture windows also have me an opportunity to spy on lots of geese and ducks with their babies in the morning!
