It may have officially been the last WWOA Lake Michigan Operator's Meeting of the year, but it sure didn't feel like December last week in Chilton. We walked out of the meeting at the end of the day and it was 50 degrees and sunny - we should have planned a golf outing instead of an operator's meeting! Luckily the meeting was great and time well spent. The room was packed with operators - there were at least 99 people in attendance! The day was filled with good conversations and presentations. I'm looking forward seeing everyone again in 2016.

I was happy to join a great group of operators and vendors last Wednesday in Little Chute at the Northeast Water Professionals winter meeting. I came in shortly before the meeting started, and I was amazed with the group we had assembled! It's neat how this group of operators keeps growing.
There was great presentations, a great pizza buffet lunch, and great conversations - pretty much the awesome meeting trifecta. As a bonus, I thought that it was a neat idea to ask each person to bring a few canned goods for a mini-food drive that one of the operators took back with them and donated to their local food pantry. A nice community touch. If you get a chance to attend one of these meetings, I'd definitely recommend it. It's a relaxed and friendly way to spend a couple hours, learn a few things, and get some credits. I'm looking forward to this next year! |
