I would be positively remiss if I missed talking about the Northwoods Collection Seminar that happened a few weeks ago. We're not strangers to this show (here we are in 2013, 2012, 2011), and I have to say 2014 was the best time yet!
I arrived a bit before the morning break and got everything set up. Because classes are going on in the morning, the vendors have plenty of time to set up. Eventually everyone filled in, and it was a full house. Lunch was great, and then there was plenty of time to catch up with the operators.
Its fun to be a couple years into this job - I think I'm at the perfect point. I'm really enjoying that I know a good amount of operators and it's fun to get to know them better and better. At the same time, there are always still new people to meet at every show.
Before I knew it, the day finished up with a raffle. I was happy to see an operator we all know well and always enjoying seeing - Todd from Nekoosa - take home the prize we donated - a B&M hat and a $50 gift card to Best Buy.
