Yesterday I was invited to attend the NE Water Professionals Meeting in Hortonville.  This was my first time at this meeting.  By the end of the day, I was really glad I was invited.  It's a newer organization in the Northeast region of the state that is put together by some awesome operators.  

It's very organized - the guys in charge are doing a great job of that.  At the same time, the meeting has a very grassroots feel to it that makes it very pertinent to the operators in attendance. I think that the presentations had the best audience participation that I've ever seen at a training.  It was cool to see that everyone in attendance was involved in picking the topics for the next meeting during the business meeting.

I'm really excited to be a part of the organization moving forward and am looking forward to seeing what comes next!

I had a GREAT day yesterday in Waupaca for the Lake Michigan district meeting! Now, it was really cold outside. Hasn't this week just really sucked with all this cold? So anything inside and warm was going to be an improvement.  I did condense what I brought for my tabletop a little bit so I could make it all in ONE trip. 

 But I have to be fair: the Lake Michigan district does a great job of organizing meetings.  The members are great at supporting their regional meetings - there were about 95 people at this one. I don't make it to all of these meetings, but every time I do I leave thinking that I really have got to get to them all - they're just really well done.

What made it a great day? Lots of people, both old friends and new, a really nice agenda that flowed very well, a delicious cookie for dessert at lunch, and I always like visiting Waupaca WWTP.  You really can't beat that.
