The company that made it is out of Texas, and it looks like they do pretty similar work as we do (pumps + controls integration). So if you find yourself sympathizing with the operator in this clip, give us a call. We always make you our one and only priority when your lift station pump goes down (can't you hear me singing?). I can't guarantee that our dancing is as good as these guys, though.
All week, I've been laughing at this video. It's a perfect fusion of pop music + wastewater industry (operators, contractors, and engineers). Doesn't that sound bizarrely awesome? The engineer verse in the middle is my favorite. What's yours?

This week the North Central had their winter meeting, and thank God we didn't have the same weather (36 inches of snow up north!) as last year. A nice sunny brisk winter day brought us all to Stevens Point, and it was a great day.
The overall them for the day focused on both energy savings and generation steps that wastewater treatment plants are taking. In the morning, we had several professional engineers share their expertise, and in the afternoon there were presentations about their firsthand experiences implementing these technologies from operators at Wisconsin Rapids WWTP, Stevens Point WWTP, and Wausau WWTP. This thoughtful format allowed for valuable in depth sharing of information and experiences. Jeremy and all the guys from Stevens Point did a wonderful job setting this meeting up, and it was a great kick off for the year for the North Central Region. |
